Not obsolete. Just different.

VHS.RENT is a home for cameras from the analog and early digital era.

Some cameras are remembered for their specifications. Others for the images they leave behind. This project makes room for both.

VHS is the starting point, not the boundary. The collection will include tape cameras, optical media, floppy disks and the unusual experiments in between.

The aim is to bring camera profiles, real footage, rental information, digitization and documentation together in one useful place.

Real cameras, documented carefully.
Original footage, with context.
Useful information, before nostalgia.

The archive starts here.

This first version establishes the space. Camera records, footage and service details will be added as they are ready.
